There is still no sign the open beta will start anytime soon and there haven’t been a real update from EA in 2 weeks. To keep all you battlefield heroes fans busy while waiting I found some interesting sites. Probably most have visited bfheroes.org but if you didn’t take a look at their comic section. You also might want to check out JW-renders for some wallpapers and userbars.

It stays quiet again in the EA/Dice camp and so we just keep waiting patiently. In the meantime I found you some gameplay videos on youtube to keep you busy while waiting:

As far as i know there isn’t announced any release date for battlefield heroes let alone the open beta. But i just came across this 1up battlefield heroes page. The page is not so interesting but there is a interesting detail! Where most if not all sites say the release date of battlefield heroes will be Q2 or Q3 1up really has a date. If we have to believe 1up the release date of battlefield heroes will be 09/15/2008 probably a lot later then most fans hopped it would be!
EA is expanding the amount of btf heroes servers , it cant be long now before they start the open beta ! There still hasn’t been a word from EA/Dice about when the open beta starts but keeping in mind they announced the game would launch this summer(summer starts 20th of June) it cant be long till they start the open beta.
As i wrote before there were several rumors going around that the open beta would start on the 6th of June. Unfortunately this were just rumors and nothing was released on the 6th of June not even some news to keep us busy. It stays awfully silence in the battlefield heroes camp we can just hope they are so busy getting everything working for the open beta that they don’t have time to update the site.
You can now register at the battlefield heroes web site. They are already in closed beta for some weeks now and it seems they are making the website ready for the open beta.
Rumors are the open beta will start on the 6th of June which is a historical date. On the 6th of June 1944 D-day begun.
